The sound was insufferable; a cacophony of blaring intrusion rudely tearing her out of the rather lovely dream she had been having.

Synopsis

Tegan Lockwood’s dreams were dead, sacrificed on the noble altar of duty before they ever had a chance to live. Her entire existence was disappearing into the abyss of apathy as she labored her days away keeping her family’s struggling business alive. There would be no emotion, no color, no beauty in her life. That is, until a mysterious visitor begins to draw her out of the darkness of her past towards something that will challenge the boundaries of her world, and unlock the most deeply held secrets of her heart.

What I think of it

I’m so glad the author has send me a copy as otherwise I probably wouldn’t have read this wonderful book.

This story is so interesting it makes you want to keep reading it and just forget about everything you should do that day. I have read this book in one sitting, and I don’t regret it at all. This book amazingly written

I really recommend this book, even if you’re not into romance, I promise you that you’ll love this book. You’ll fall more and more in love with every page you turn. The characters are very interesting and have unique personalities. I really loved the story-line.

This is written in a woman’s POV, and there aren’t many male authors that are able to write such a good and realistic story this way. But Dallas wonderfully has.

(Personal message to the author: Please write a second book 🙂 )
